Inks
Gravure ink
Kuraray's diols and polyols are used in ink applications, especially as raw materials for binder resins for gravure inks. In gravure inks, delicate shade expression and high reproducibility of photographic images are important. Kuraray Polyol is widely used for gravure ink applications because of their high pigment dispersibility and excellent adhesion to various substrates.

UV inks
Using IPEMA as a reactive diluent in UV inks can be expected to provide hardness, flexibility, low viscosity and curability. If there is poor UV curing due to oxygen inhibition, adding a small amount of DPNG and IPEMA, UV curing accelerators and suppressing inhibition by oxygen speeds up the curing process and improves productivity.
Adhesives
Kuraray's diols and polyols have excellent temperature characteristics and can be used in harsh environments such as below zero. It has different merits regarding the adhesive strength; depending on the base material, it improves adhesiveness. By using IPEMA as a reactive diluent in UV adhesives, hardness, flexibility, low viscosity and curability can be expected. If there is poor UV curing due to oxygen inhibition, adding a small amount of DPNG and IPEMA, functioning as UV curing accelerators and suppressing oxygen inhibition, speeds up the curing process and improves productivity.
Industrial cleaning agents
Industrial cleaning agents must have low damage to substrates and cleaning ability. MMB is expected to improve cleaning ability and control resin solubility and evaporation rate through the formulation.
Reaction solvents
MTHP is a reaction solvent with solubility comparable to that of THF and can be used for various organic reactions commonly used in synthetic reactions such as electronic materials. It is easy to recycle because it is almost immiscible in water. In addition, since all processes from synthesis to extraction can be performed using only MTHP, process improvement, simplification, and GHG reduction can be expected. MTHP is stable in acids and alkalis and is relatively resistant to oxidation among ether solvents, making it easy to handle.
3D printing
In 3D printing, which uses light to cure liquid resin, light curing may be slowed down due to inhibition by oxygen. DPNG and IPEMA can be added in small quantities to liquid resins to inhibit oxygen inhibition, speeding up curing and improving productivity.
